Wednesday night meals will resume in the fall.
There is a signup in the foyer for those interested in participating in a choir Christmas program.
There will be blue grass & gospel music in the fellowship hall on Friday, August 20th at 6:30 pm.
There will be a youth group scavenger hunt on Saturday, August 21st from 2-5 pm.
The church picnic will be at Unicoi State Park (shelter #6) this year, following services on Sunday, August 22nd. Bring chairs and food to share and come enjoy the fellowship.
On Sunday, August 29th the youth group will meet at 1:45 pm to leave for The Gathering at Eastridge Community Church, returning at 9 pm; cost is $5.
Beginning Sunday, September 12th Harvest will begin an 8-week series called Gospel in Life, a whole group study in the worship center from 6-7:30 pm. Small groups will resume meeting in homes in January.
The middle school Deeper Life retreat at camp will be September 17th-19th; $35 is due on September 8th.
On Saturday, October 9th the youth group will meet at 4 pm to leave for Tribulation Trail in Stockbridge; cost is $10 plus dinner.
Our next quarterly Congregational Awareness Meeting will be a fellowship meal on Sunday, October 24th.
The youth group will have costume party on Sunday, October 31st from 6-7:30 pm.
The high school Deeper Life retreat at camp will be November 5th-7th; $35 is due on October 27th.
On Saturday, November 13th the ladies of the church will be holding a Harvest Homemade Holiday Bazaar. The cost is $10 ($5 for church members) per table for vendors with homemade items, with proceeds benefiting the church building fund. Please see Memrie Cox for more information.
On Saturday, November 20th there will be a youth group bonfire at Rick & Memrie's from 7-8:30 pm; girls bring snacks & guys bring drinks.
The youth group Christmas party will be Friday, December 10th at Rick & Memrie's from 6-8 pm; bring a $5 gag gift.
There annual New Year's Eve lock-in at Mt. Carmel Christian Church will be Friday, December 31st from 7 pm to 7 am; the cost is $5.
